The breakfast was shockingly disappointing with minimal options, and I found the room cleanliness questionable. I even experienced issues with lights not working properly in my room. Overall, this was a frustrating experience.

Being familiar with Istanbul, I chose Gulhanepark Hotel for its fantastic location. It’s just a short walk to Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Restaurants and shops are nearby, adding convenience. The staff, especially Yilmaz at the front desk, were welcoming and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, although a bit small. Breakfast offered a great variety with both hot and cold options. The coffee machine brewed excellent coffee, and the dining area felt spacious and well-organized. Wi-Fi connectivity was weak in the room at times but didn’t affect me much. Overall, a solid choice for exploring Istanbul without breaking the bank.

guelhanepark hotel & spa is in a fantastic location, just a 10-15 minute walk to major sights like hagia sophia and topkapi palace. the room was spacious and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. i especially enjoyed the great sauna and massage services, which were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
